In 1993, after George Clooney and his first wife Talia Balsam, also an actress, got divorced, the heartthrob announced that he would never marry again. Since then, the list of his more or less serious girlfriends of the American actor has extended steadily, including the British model Lisa Snowdon, showgirl Elisabetta Canalis, reality TV star Sarah Larson, but also Renée Zellweger, Krista Allen and even ex-Wrestling star Stacy Keibler succumbed to his charms. So, when Clooney finally announced his wedding, everyone was left speechless: The eternal bachelor has finally changed his mind? But not even the biggest heartbreaker can control matters of the heart after all.

The marriage with the beautiful Anglo-Lebanese Amal Alamuddin, lawyer and human rights activist, has caused quite a stir and was celebrated in private on 27 September in Venice in the old palace Ca ‘Farsetti between luxury and sophistication. It is therefore not surprising that also the choice of clothing followed the style of the location. Her in a snow-white Oscar De La Renta dress with lace, floral embroidery and tulle, he in a classic Armani suit. Jacket and pants in black, a white shirt and black bow tie, a simple but unbeatably elegant outfit!

The VIP couple had already proven their impeccable sense of style during a “walk” around Venice with grey suit, blue shirt and light gray-dark grey regimental tie and Amal in an elegant cream-coloured dress and classic hat in the British style perfectly.

Also the invitees of the “Wedding of the Year”, among them the Vogue editor Anna Wintour and Cindy Crawford, presented themselves super elegant and stylish in black and white and in a long royal blue dress. The look of Bono Vox instead was rather minimalistic, with a classic black suit, dark shirt and no tie!
