July, Look of the Month: The Outfit for Bohemian, Vintage and Country Style Weddings
It’s almost July and we are in the middle of the high season of weddings. At this time of year, casual weddings that are celebrated outdoors are particularly popular. Also for what concerns the outfit, there are more choices than for traditional weddings. Here are our accessories for more unconventional weddings.
They have been already popular for a few years and also this year there will be many weddings celebrated in the so-called bohemian, vintage or country style. What is it that makes this type of wedding so special? Especially that the couple has more liberties! Often they are celebrated outdoors, which means more choice in terms of venue, catering and decoration. But also for the outfit, the couple has more choices than for a traditional ceremony. Especially men have more alternatives. We have selected our favourite accessories for this type of weddings. By the way: The outfit is also ideal for groomsmen.
Grey bow tie with pattern: The classic suit is not very common at weddings of this type. Instead, the groom often wears only a shirt or a waistcoat with it (a great option for hot summer days). With this look a bow tie fits best: unicolour or as our selected model with a subtle pattern.
Light gray trouser braces: With a white shirt and a bow tie, we recommend trouser braces in the same shade of colour. The trouser braces add a special touch to the outfit. Alternatively, you can also opt for a waistcoat for a slightly more classic outfit.
Black silk handkerchief: If you choose to wear a waistcoat, you should add a handkerchief. The waistcoat and the bow tie tie usually are chosen in the same colour, so for a little colour contrast, we chose a black handkerchief. If you want an accessory that stands out a bit more you can opt for a Boutonnière- yes, they are back in fashion!
Cufflinks in silver: For an elegant touch for the more casual outfit you can choose a shirt with a French cuff and a nice pair of cufflinks.
